Sales Development Manager

Pay: ($70,000.00 - $90,000.00) per year

Our fast-growing residential HVAC service and replacement company is seeking an experienced and dedicated HVAC Sales Development Manager to join our team. This role is critical in driving our company's growth by enhancing the skills of our existing sales team and ensuring a boost in our company-wide sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive sales training programs to enhance the product knowledge and sales skills of the team.
  • Develop a consistent and scalable sales strategy that includes best practices in all areas of HVAC sales.
  • Monitor and evaluate the sales team's performance to ensure training is translating into improved sales.
  • Collaborate with sales managers to identify gaps in sales performance and develop strategies and programs to address them.
  • Establish objective performance metrics to track and assess team members' progress and effectiveness.
  • Create engaging learning materials and training sessions in various formats (videos, guides, workshops, webinars, etc.).
  • Keep updated with the latest trends in sales training and the HVAC industry to ensure our training programs are current and effective.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in sales training and development, preferably within the HVAC industry.
  • Demonstrated success in developing sales teams and driving significant sales growth.
  • Solid understanding of sales strategies and industry-specific best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver complex information in a straightforward, compelling way.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills to track, assess, and report on sales performance metrics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales management role is required, with demonstrated experience in team development and training.

Requirements:

  • Must have 5 years of previous sales training experience.
  • Experience in sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean driving record
  • Flexible availability
  • Ability to work outdoors
